nice poll. i voted UB simply because it seems like things balanced out more when i was playing higher stakes (if you go to ptr and enter the user name soonerdawg, you will see where i won 3 grand there in a single night, and lost over a grand). also, bodog was good to me back in 2005 when i played 5/10 NL regulary (made 7 grand in one night, lost about 3k of that on a bluff).

full tilt it seems like i'm always on the receiving end of the meat torpedo. also played some high limit at doyle's room when they first got going, but it seemed to even out. never did well at poker stars, although this was before i got into NL, i played mostly 10/20 Limit there, seemed to never hit a draw and always got sucked out on.

also, UB has the quickest payout IMO. western union processed and info sent within a few hours. also the easiest deposits. they can be fishy as shit though, especially after cashing out, but i've heard the same thing about everybody else.

one of the reasons i think i run bad at FT and PS is because they're more high profile. you're more likely to find stiffer competition there. my biggest scores have come when i'm in there mixing it up and getting down -- risking over a grand on an open ended straight without fear and putting my opponent to the test. these days, my asshole puckers up at an 8 dollar raise when i'm holding pocket aces post flop.

at this time, no way in hell i'd put money in FT. PS, maybe. Doyle's room, maybe. if i had to put money into a high stakes game to pay the rent tomorrow.....

i'd go with UB......it wouldn't be close

one of the drawbacks about UB though is it's hard to find a good game above the 2/4 NL table, and a lot of these games are 6 handed (i hate short handed play). 1/2 is pretty juicy, but if you sit down at 2/4, after a couple blinds, you might find yourself down 20 bucks without playing a hand and half the table gone. i hate that shit.

i just play at ft and stars. both seem equally random. the funny thing is you KNOW when your gonna get fucked. last night, semi-short stacked just past the bubble i shoved aa vs a9s.. just knew hed flush. i mean, i already knew that id lost as soon as i saw 1 spade on the flop. knew without a doubt, hed get 2 more. id have bet it even money at that moment. and of course he did.

With two suited cards, the probability of getting a flush is ~7%, but
you'd bet it at 50% huh?

If you really did KNOW all these things you claim to have known,
you'd be one rich poker player.

I would love to have that kind of intuition.

Can we define realistic? I mean if you go to a random casino and sit down and play poker..... Cake is pretty realistic it seems to be a gathering of random degenerates imo.

What I mean is...Which site seems the most fair?Which site seems realistic and unmanipulated?Like brick and morter? The software doesn't play a role?

Just to answer ur question im going to say its Absolute that is most like live casino action.....and thats mainly due to a combination of software and a mx of decent and bad players...
Weirdly enough the most unlike a real casino, besides Full Rigged, i would say UB which should be exactly like Absolute since you are on the same network same games and same players...but to me the software makes it more like a " computer game"...it just doesnt have a "real" feel to it.

As far as Stars...if i ever go to a live casino game and the loosest table there has 18% of the players seeing a flop im long gone from that place....

The thing is with bonuses, rakeback, etc it makes online poker a completely different animal with its own player base....
Live and online poker really are not comparable when you get right down to it...
